Trigonometry Calculator

Enter an angle in degrees or radians to get all six trigonometric values: sin, cos, tan, sec, csc, and cot.

Trigonometric Values

Trigonometric Functions relate angles to ratios of sides in a right triangle.

Six functions:

  • sin(θ) = opposite / hypotenuse
  • cos(θ) = adjacent / hypotenuse
  • tan(θ) = opposite / adjacent = sin(θ) / cos(θ)
  • csc(θ) = 1 / sin(θ)
  • sec(θ) = 1 / cos(θ)
  • cot(θ) = 1 / tan(θ) = cos(θ) / sin(θ)

Conversion:

  • Radians = Degrees × π / 180
  • Degrees = Radians × 180 / π

Common angles:

Degrees Radians sin cos tan
0 0 1 0
30° π/6 0.5 0.866 0.577
45° π/4 0.707 0.707 1
60° π/3 0.866 0.5 1.732
90° π/2 1 0 undefined
