Thread length is decided by the stitch far more than by the size of the piece, and the spread is wider than most people expect. Loom weaving and netting need about 1.5 times bead height per bead. Peyote takes 2.0, brick and herringbone 2.5, square stitch 3.0, and right angle weave a full 4.0, because the thread passes through each bead up to four times. The same bracelet in right angle weave burns nearly three times the thread it would in netting.

Peyote count works in real Delica dimensions rather than a generic bead size, because the offset stitch advances length by half a bead height per row instead of a whole one. An 11/0 Delica is 1.6 mm wide and 1.3 mm tall, so each row adds 0.65 mm and a bracelet needs roughly twice the rows you would guess.
