Race time, split targets, transitions, nutrition and brick training. 8 calculators for triathletes. Single-sport pacing sits under Running and Cycling.

Transition time is the cheapest minute in the sport and the one almost nobody trains. A sloppy T1 and T2 give away three or four minutes across a race, which is more than most athletes gain from an entire training block. It also costs nothing in fitness, just a rehearsed sequence and elastic laces.

Wetsuit time savings puts a number on buoyancy, and the result runs against intuition. The gain is largest for weaker swimmers, not strong ones. A strong swimmer already holds a good body position in the water, so there is less for the neoprene to correct.

Race nutrition works in carbohydrate per hour, and the ceiling is a gut limit rather than a preference. Practise it in training. Race day is a poor time to discover what your stomach will tolerate at effort.

The race time and split target pages work from your own recent times rather than from an age-group table. That matters most on the run, where a split predicted from a standalone 10k is optimistic by several minutes. You arrive at it having already swum and ridden, and no fresh-legs time accounts for that.
